Long time since I posted anything! Sorry about that, lifes hard on a man. In order to make it harder to prevent my drawing skills from becoming completely rusty, I accepted a commission. Gotta draw a number of b&w character concepts that will be used as interior art in an anime-flavoured indie RPG.
For a start I picked what seemed to be the most difficult one for me (a fencer chick), and Im pretty satisfied with how she turned out after ~3 hours in Inkscape. Well, I aint Mashima Hiro for sure, but I think you can tell I was reading a lot of his manga recently Nothing flashy or truly unique in the design, but dont be too hard on me remember that this is the first time Im doing something like that.
So far the clients happy, lets see how its gonna go further. If all goes well, Ill edit the comments to add the link when the books out.
PS: I have noooo idea why I named her Miyuki. I had to come up with a name when I was saving the file
That's awesome! Keep up the good work. If your client was not satisfied, I'd say there was something terribly wrong.
