Zaraki Kenpachi, one of my favourite anime characters, has had his birthday on Nov 19. With me always being slow and late, it comes at no surprise that I'm submitting it only now...

Kanpai! (乾杯, pronounced "kam-pai") means "Cheers!", a Japanese phrase you say before you drink

And it sounds to me a bit like "BANKAI"

I know I suck at backgrounds, but better cheap than crappy, right?

According to my files, it took 4 hours 16 minutes to complete. Tools used: computer, mouse, pen tablet, Inkscape, Corel PSP X, Aoyagi Kouzan font, references and a lot of advice from my friends whom I bothered today with a sketch that you can see in Scraps (it's not the first version, though).
