There is a banner contest going on at ~Zexy-Guys, and I decided to give it a shot. I chose Gogeta mainly because of his outfit - only Gotenks has the same kind, but I'm not sure the dA mods will be amused to see his name in this context... And, of course, he combines the best of Goku and Vegeta! Gogeta's looking much less bloodthirsty which some folks might consider OOC - I agree, yet this is intentional, because the club is not called "~GuysThatWillEatYouAlive" =D

Around 10 hours of work, I guess (it's an estimation, I didn't measure exactly), mostly Inkscape and PSPX; mouse, tablet and touchpad. For the logo-styled labels I used some vectors from Dragon Ball Wikia (no need to credit because I made them anyway, you can check that I am listed there as an official graphic artist or something). "Zexy" is typeset in DBZ-like design, and "Guys" in DBGT-like one, the rest is DB-like. Special effects consist of randomly drawn lines as well as post-processed automated tracings of public domain photographs. So, Gogeta is fully © by Akira Toriyama, the rest is © by me, and I hereby grant ~Zexy-Guys the right to use it for contest-related stuff.

I think I will post a non-banner variation of this picture in hq soon, it's just a pity that in this resolution a lot of details are lost, and believe me, I worked hard for those details here =D

Oh, relax, it's just a contest, no big deal =D
And you gotta admit the second place winner was really good (I voted for her myself). I don't quite dig the one on the first place because the style is not DBZ-like, so I can't even recognise the characters on her works. She might still be a good artist, though.
